There isn't much difference in Alpine and Kenwood now that Alpine is a Mass produceD producT. They are not as elite as they were in the late 80's. I use kenwood my self now. I was an Alpiner as well. Kenwood makes some great head units.

I just bought the kenwood for my vette and will be trying it out on Power Tour this year.
