      Sound deadening in a convert?

Just wondering would there be any benefit from doing a second skin or equivalent in a convertible? I am ready to start on the interior and wondering if it will make a difference when the tops down for noise ?
      Thanks

yeah it would still keep out rattles and make the doors and panels tighter

also you wouldnt hear the under car noises

its never going to be great like a solid roof car but`will help

Did you end up using any on the convert? If so did it make a significant difference?

I used dynamat extreme on the firewall, floors and in the truck and yes has made a difference.

I used a generic version of dynamat it seemed to help deaden some of the noise. But I really can't say since when I bought the car it had no carpet or top!!

I do not run a top and have just the carpet no padding under it at all. My exhaust is way to loud and hope this will tone it down. Time will tell I guess.
