Paint stencils needed for MotiV8r. Who makes them?

I am in need of some customs stencils to paint the MotiV8r logo on my Camaro. I would need several of each in several sizes to do the hood and possibly some place else.



Is there anyone on the site that makes these?

Hey Larry .

You can go to any "quality" sign shop and they should be able to make stencils for you...
I have a friend here in Granger that made all my vinyl graphics for my gasser Nova ( Dueces Gone Wild ) and he said he could do stencils for me anytime i wanted.

Be careful when getting your "average joe's" vinyl shop to cut negatives. I've had the vinyl react to the reducer and begin to pull away at the edges. Depending on what your plans are for the graphics, try to get the painter to spray it as "dry" as possible, you want the paint to burn in, but don't want it to lift the vinyl as well.

If at all possible make sure its 3M vinyl. They make the best. I worked for a sign shop here in Shreveport La, 4 13 years and thats all we used. Oh and thats 13 years of my life I will never get back. They make a certain type of material that was designed just for this type of stuff but I can't remember what it was. been a long time ago. might help some I don't know.

We used it alot for spraying signage on commercial vans and trucks and never had any problems with edge lift, talking about the 3M.
