      Looking for LS7 race engine builders for

      a frind of mine who hase 3 cars in the dutch supercar chalenge GT class http://www.supercarchallenge.nl/
      they compeat with one ferraris and a corvette and a volkswagon pasat DTM stile .both corvette and Pasatcars(6 speed) have ls7 engines and have 8 races weekends in the summer. the cars run 2 races of 1 hour and the rest is qualifieng and testing. tottal running time on the engines is 4 hours every weekend. what he is looking for is a 650/700 hp NA race engine,s and ore sending the engines back fore revising.when nesersary,ecetera ecetera . last but not least the pasat drive line keeps falling apart when warming up the tiers. so any sirgestions about gear boxes and the rest of the drife line is aprisiated...       I would go with Wegners Motorsports They build a lot of lsx engines and LS-7 engines They do a lot of Nascar Engines and race engine development for GM Call Dan Tim 920 -394-3557

      Obviously Katech are the leaders in naturally aspirated LS7 race engines; their records speak for themselves.

      Another Vote for Katech. You cannot get a better more reliable racing LS7 anywhere. Just take a look under the hood of every LeMans winning C5R/C6R. All Katech built, and they have won 8 straight championships.

      Who else can make that claim?

      I'll second that. Nascar Busch North and Busch West (now Camping World Series) spec engines are LS based and were designed by Wegner. Probably a more economical choice than Katech if you don't have the budget of a factory sponsored team.
