Upgraded the daily driver a bit...

Here's the truck with the new 20's and with the rear lowered two inches (shackles). I still need to install my color matched door handles and get my flippy bed cover (and splash guards).

      Looks much better though.

I also opted for a little performance boost. Feels snappier and it sounds MUCH better when I mash the throttle. Even my wife noticed (she thought I bought a new exhaust system).

Hmm. Methinks I might go a little lower front and back, unless it will affect ride quality. Looks good though. Where did you score the wheels, they look factory?

They are factory GMC wheels.. take-offs from a friends truck

It looks more level in person. I measured and it's a half-inch higher in the back. I will be doing a bed cover and that will add some weight.

Looks really good Steve! The wheel to car size ratio is much better. And the anti-stink bug helps the whole package even more.

On a side note. How do you like the truck overall, my friend is looking to get a new full size; but he can never make up his mind on those sort of things. How good does it go, handle(if you can call it handling), ride and what not?

I really like it. The ride is good and it has excellent get-up-and-go. The steering is very nice and the truck has a great turning radius. Overall I'm very happy with it.

It handles like a big truck. lol.. but with the stabilitrak it's not too bad.

A question for all of you, I noticed it quite a bit over there, why do you have the dealer's advertising on the number plates still? Do you not need a number plate?

In CA it takes a month or so to get your metal plates. Until then you only run a small piece of paper taped to the inside of the front windshield.

My plates should be here any day. On the plus side CA doesn't let the dealers (or they just don't) put those dealer badges on the back of new cars.
