I saw the radiologist yesterday and he has 33 to 35 treatment appointments coming my way. Five days a weak with weekends off.
With all of the appointments I have had recently the one they told me I had cancer was so far the only big dis-
appointment.
They even get your dentist invloved with flouride treatments for your teeth because you will have a loss in saliva production which affects your teeth.
I see the oncologist on Monday to set up chemo treatments.
When this is all over the phrase more fun than going to the dentist will probably not apply.
I will start the treatments around the end of the month so i have a couple of weeks to eat the things I really like and then it goes downhill to a liquid diet and if it doesn't go well a feeding tube. The doc said that in 15 years only one man has ever made it through with no weight loss or problem and that he was the total exception to the rule. Good thing for me people have been telling me I am the exception to the rule most of my life, so I am hoping to keep up the normal standard for myself through the end
I'll keep you all posted and thanks for being there, it really helps and when I will have a hard time talking I will at least be able to type to you guys with no problems.
