Is a 12 wide wheel an option for say a mini-tubbed car? How much does widening run?

Custom widening adds $475 per wheel. Probably more cost effective to go with a 3-piece wheel.

Dang...do you know if 19's would fit on a 69 Nova with AFX tall spindles and stock (for now) control arms? I'll have to photoshop the wheels onto my car to see if they'll look as good as I think, but I definitely think it'll look bitchin'. Right now I'm running 18x8 fronts and 18x9 rears. The rears fit no problem, but the fronts have like 6" of backspacing, and even with 1.5" adapters they hit the frame so I have limited steering.

Wheel diameter would fit, but the tire sidewall just gets thinner as you go up in diameter. Just depends on if you want to sacrifice any ride quality or aesthetics related to sidewall thickness. Just a personal preference though. What are your current size/profile tires?

Sorry it took so long to respond, but you know how it is on Labor Day weekend.

The fronts are 235/40ZR18's and the rears are 245/40ZR18's. I'd like to keep the ratio right now if it's possible (it looks like the sidewalls are around 2" tall on the front, but I'm not positive). I don't mind a rougher ride, but I don't want the rubberband-stretched-tire look, ya know?
