Wow, this forum is freakin sweet. I've been looking for a forum dedicated to high quality muscle car customs for a while. I've been wrenching for about the last five years or so on various cars, I finally have a decent area to work and some decent tools, it's never enough though . Here's my current daily/cruiser/project/all around fun car. 1980 L-82 Corvette.




I love this car. No other way I can put it. So far, I've replaced all of the brake calipers with updated units (stock calipers have a tendency to leak), replaced all the hard brake lines, and installed stainless flex lines at the calipers with dot4 fluid. I recently installed a new aluminum radiator as well with an electric fan, no pics of that yet, i need to clean up the wiring and fabricate a cover for the top of the fan shroud. Otherwise, i have pretty much left the car stock. I'm planning a lot more though.

I'm really torn right now, the plan was to drive the vette and work on this, so i tore it apart, plans are to lay rocker on bags, chop top, some wild body work, moderate engine, general truck truck. The problem i'm running into is that just doing small stuff on the vette,full time work, got my butt in gear to finish college, saving money, paying some debt off, family time, keeping our house maintained. It's becoming really hard to justify keeping it. I can't even find the time to work on it. It makes me sick just thinking about selling it all parted out though, especially after spending so much effort acumulating the majority of the expensive pieces and tools over the last year or two. I don't know, any advice? Should i stop whining, finish the job, and .

Thanks dude, it was always garage kept and driven in the spring/summer only.......until i bought it lol.....

Oh well, i finally bought a portable garage to keep the sun and rain off of it.



I found a pic of my original concept for my truck. It's photoshopped obviously . Running around and seeing what some of you guys have going on, i think i need to finish it. I'd be lame to walk away now, anybody else get up at 4:00 am and work on their cars before work? hahaha
