      Big block EFI PT vette

I think its been awhile since this car has been on here. First image is my favorite pic of Groovy Jay's Vette that he named 'C3-R'. He lives in Finland.

      Nice 3/4 shot

      Sparco Milano seats ...

      Agreed.

To my way of thinking its strange because the entry price on a running C3 is really reasonable.

This one looks great and a bonus is that '74-82's cost a lot less than their C3 chrome bumper predecessors obviously.

Here's an amazing '81, a former $1000 basket case, now with a supercharged Z06 motor, tube chassis which cost $6800 bare... seems reasonable, and a great paint scheme!

      It won't fit.

      The C3 is narrower.

      Here's an awesome try though.

www.streetshopinc.com These guys have built a number of transaxle frames for C2/3 corvettes. Aside from that, their regular updated frames are fantastic as well.

The late C3 corvettes can be a real bargain build for someone. I've already designed the swap plates and headers for people looking to do the LSx conversion which only makes it that much easier. If the birdcage and frame are intact there are many bolt on mods that work wonders also. As you can also see, putting a BBC into one is nothing. My biggest gripe with the late C3s is the hatch area. The C3-R car is great but to me it's very lacking in the rear. However, it's no problem slapping on the 81-82 front and rear which come with spoilers integrated into the bumpers(the blue vette has these). It completes the low slung look of the late C3s to me.

Sounds like some great swap parts Trey...

Regarding the styling, here's a C3 with the ZR1 style fascia on them ...

I've seen that before as well. It's interesting to say the least. I've never seen one in person though.

here's a picture of one that i found when i was looking for wheels.

and speaking of using these as project cars i've got a '77 Vette that i'm rebuilding right now. i've stroked the motor and am getting ready to put it back in the car. stock horses were around 190. now it should be over 400
i still have a little interior work to do and then repaint it. i'm lookin forward to cranking that motor over soon though.
it's hard because i see it in the condition it is now and don't have a huge desire to work on it, but when i see them like this one and the previous ones it almost makes me wish i was keeping the car because it can look amazing. but eventually it will get sold to give me money to use on the chevelle.

yeah, i think they'd look even better if they were mine... but i think i'm gonna go with a red when i repaint mine.
and i don't have the money for Foose Nitrous wheels lol. everything else on mine will be stock except for the motor (and, well exhaust)
