Hi from Austin
Hey Guys – My name is Gary and I have been a member for quite a while now and figured I’d go ahead and introduce myself. My car is a 1973 Trans Am that was rusting away in a storage facility in Dallas. I live just north of Austin, TX. As you can see in the pic there was a lot of surface rust. Yeah I know I have a lot of work ahead of me.
I have learned a lot from you guys and I’m sure I will have many more questions as my project progresses.
I will post more pics in the Project Update section showing my progress.

Welcome aboard. I have some friends in Austin. I built those Austin Ducks Amphibians that run through the city.
I love those cars, keep us up to date.

I've had it for about 3 yrs now. I got it from David at Texas Trans Ams in Fort Worth (very south FW). Here is his web site: http://www.texastransams.com/
He usually has a lot of parts, give him a call.
Mine is sandblasted - I'll post some pics in the Project Update soon.
