      Car Craft Magazine

I'm looking for any issues featuring the 79 Malibu they put the LT1 motor in a few years back. I believe within the last 6 years or so. Also the March 1982 issue. If anyone has these issues I would like them. Name your price.

I may have the LT1 Malibu one, I'll have to dig through my stash. Are you looking for information on the build or what?

I actually own that Malibu now and would like the issues to read and just have to hang on my garage wall.

S&P has it scanned on their website. http://www.hotrodlane.cc/Streetstori...malibult1.html

Doesn't include month/year though... I think it was done in the mid-90's (?)

Heres a couple of pics. Not much has changed since I bought the car from Henry D (except 2 kids & a house purchase) so now its time to FINALLY fix/change a few things now that I have some time. I'll have to start a project thread once I get going.

Just opened my new CC mag, Opened it to the back inside cover. Mentions that the Malibu was a brand new project car and was crushed . What a shame for any car much more so a brand new magazine project.

I was following the magazine articles and was planning to copy their build. I had a few questions regarding a few things and saw on the Car Craft Forums that it was on Ebay. Got in touch with Henry and ended up with the winning bid at the last minute. It was cheaper to buy it as is than what it would have cost me to copy the build. So now I get to build my other Malibu while I play around with this one. It will eventually go to the wife once the other one is finished.
