      Simple Question* LS1 68 Camaro

My harness said nothing about the altenator wire so I connected it directly to the battery.

The other day the altenator was generating 17vdc and now it's dead and doesnt charge.

I just wanted to check and be be sure that on the LS1 altenator the little red wire should be connected to the battery directly, correct?

      Thanks in advance,
      Jer

There has been a lot of talk about this on the ls1 forum.

Sorry I thought I updated this post? I have access to alldata.com and figured it out. I was just disappointed a .50c resistor couldnt be included with my expensive harness?

      Thanks for helping though!!
