*lt1 guys* opti question
i took the opti vent line off that runs to the intake and hooked somthing else up there and never hooked it back up. when i was out driving the car today it backfired and poped and shut off. once i hooked the tube back to the intake vacum line it seemed to run fine? could that be the problem?

That vent line removes some kind of little particles in the air that result from a spark between the rotor & the terminal where the plug wires connect. I guess if that doesn't happen it can misfire.

its a 95. the car was missfiring but once i hooked it back up seemed to run fine. ill have to drive the car around the block and see if i got it fixed. its find scary tho it almost died in the middle of a intersection.
