Any pcs controller/4l80e tuners out there?

I have a few questions on the controller. I would like to set up several switches to do the following. Manually lock up the torque converter. Switch modes to full manual. Manual switch to be able to lock the trans in each gear, I am thinking I will need a double throw momentary switch for that one with a spring loaded off being in the center? I want to check for trans slippage in each gear and also want the converter locked up while I check it with the built in datalogger in the controller. I have been reading in the owners manual about the different modes but am not sure how to set up the software to accomplish these things. Thanks in advance.

I've never tried that. Nor do I think there is a defined channel in the software. Maybe thru the brake switch wiring?? Call Russ at PCS.

You might not want to bother. Just lock it up at an early speed. Set it above stall. There's no point in setting it below stall and at a speed that will not overburden the engine. Then just keep it locked up at WOT. You can adjust apply/release ramps as well.

My point is that when you get the lock up calibration set properly, you probably won't see a benefit from switching it manually. Measuring slippage outside of the lock up window is pointless because you want slippage at those throttle angle/gear/vss combinations) There is no benefit to comparing slippage within the lock up window. You want 100% within the window (except for highway gas mileage benefits while coasting, but that's a worthwhile trade-off to keeping lock up at 0% throttle angle on your favorite winding road.)

Here is my set up as an example.

Lock up 2nd, 3rd, 4th.
Lock up at 44 mph (at 40mph the drivetrain tugs on the engine)
Stay locked up above 34 mph. (Unlocks on decel at 34 mph)
Unlock at 80% throttle angle (my carburetor will not support 100%)
