      Retro Electro Headlights

When fitting the motor on the headlight plate the hole that the motor goes through is smaller than the brass bush, do I drill the hole bigger or fit the washers after the motor is fitted.

I don't recall if we did that when installing mine. Though if I and when I do this again I wont use Retro. Installed just a few months ago and they are giving me problems. Next time will be DSE.

When installing mine I used a round file and filed out the hole until the bushing fit. From what I remember, it didn't take too much filing to get it to fit correctly.

What problems are you having with your set-up? I installed mine about a year ago and they have been working great ever since.

The passenger side won't open and close. The motor is good...I think it's the internal relay. Hope I'm saying that right.

I have opened the hole and it runs alot better with less tightening of the jam nut.
