      New Member From Buenos Aires

Helo to everybody my name is Carlos, people call me "Billy".

I live in Buenos Aires Argentina, I'm a lawyer, I've got a wife and 3 kids, and I love cars specialy classic ones.

Sorry about my poor english, but we speak spanish over here.

      I don't have a pro-touring car, but I got other clasics from the 60/70's

I leave you one of my favorites an IKA-REANULT TORINO 1977 TSX model

This is a Pininfarina's design produced only in this country.

The engine is a 6 cilinder on line, with 200 HP.

      I hope you enjoy it.

      Thank you.-

      Billy

Before I came to the end of your post, where you state "produced only in this country" , I was thinking: "doesn't look like a Renault I know of"!

Welcome aboard, very nice ride. Would love to see more of your cars.

Welcome and nice Renault! Classic Pininfarina design... and it's always nice to see something a bit different than the usual Camaro/Mustang/A body/Mopar. And I wish I had access to your supply of Ford XR4 parts for my XR4TI project.

      Thank you for the welcome

Xtreameasures, no doubt, Argentina is a wounderfull country, full of realy peacefull pepole, good meat, very, very very beautyfull ladys, and today for you very cheap.

I've got 4 torinos (IKA -RENAULT); 1 Chevy ; and 1 DODGE GTX.

      My DODGE GTX 1974

One af the most beautyfull cars I've got is the TORINO 380 W 1967. It's model became famous, after TORINOS perfomance in 84 hours of Nurburgring in 1968.

This is a replica of those legendary cars

The number 3 (IKA RENAULT participate with 3 Torinos), takes the 1 place, winning famous brands as Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Triumph, and other. names as GALBATO, FANGIO, PERKINS, COPELLO, LARRY, TERNENGO, became heros for our people after that memorable race.

I'm still working on my 380 W, this is it.

Torino's father is an American design RAMBLER AMERICAN 400, redesigned in Torino Italy, by Pininfarina, thats why the name.

      Here is the Rmbler

Again Thank you for yhe Welcome

      Billy,

Tell me more about the GTX, it looks like a '68 but the badging, bumer and tailights are different. Was is a model modified for export or something Plymouth produced in South America? Either way, it is a great looking car.

I'd like to know more about the GTX as well. I have a passion for endurance racing, nice to see that you do too!

Welcome to the site. I am always amazed at how the American companies changed their cars for other countries. Those pictures are way cool thanks for sharing them.

Welcome, Billy! Great collection of cars - Renaults are a strange breed of cars for sure (I have R17 Gordini seats in my Nova!).

Also, Buenos Aires, Argentina is homeland to my favorite DJ Hernan Cattaneo - I have almost all his mixes from Metrodance 95.1 FM
Ben C. - Sometimes Complete > Perfection - I just want to drive my car...
