      A/C charge ports

Where do the A/C charge ports go... on which lines and where's the best place to put them?
      Thanks,

They go on either side of the compressor (inlet and outlet). The best location is the most accessable. The larger diameter one goes on the small diameter line (discharge or liquid) and the smaller diameter fitting goes on the suction line. Are you brazing on the ports or do you have in-line fittings for your hoses? Keep in mind that service fittings are large so leave plenty of room around the ports so you can easily hook up to them.

I'm using Aeroquip A/C braided nylon line and fittings. I went ahead and got a -8 fitting with charge port for one side of the compressor and a -10 fitting with charge port for the low pressure side. Man o man those Aeroquip parts are expensive... someone please tell me they're worth it!
