      Have LS1.. Want A/C.. How to do it

      I have a 69 Camaro with an F-Body LS1 2002... The motor had A/C.. What do I need to make it work?

      Brackets etc..
      Car originally didnt have A/C

      Easiest thing will be to buy a Hot Rod Air or Vintage Air kit for the car itself. You'll then need to speak with them about bracket options for mounting the compressor to the engine. You have a few choices there and the prices can be very wide ranging. You will not be able to use your factory Gen 3 compressor. You will have to switch it to a Sanden but that will be included in the kit for your car.

      Really, all you're doing is the same thing anyone with a SBC who wants AC in their 69 camaro is doing. The difference is the bracket to hold the compressor to the LS1.
