      Recommendation for 68 camaro rear

I am sold on the DSE speed kit 3 front as well as their SFC's, solid body mounts, and mini tubs. Should i go with the mini tub "kit" with the konis? Will this be enough for highly spirited street driving and occasional track day? I will be running 315 and 285 toyo r888's on CCW c10's. Any suggestions... I have read on here that most people can not drive past the limitations of leafs. I was going to go with the quadralink before i read this and decided to save the extra money and keep the leafs. This is my first build but i want to do it right the first time. Thanks

Anything else you would add to this setup?

      Speed kit 3
      SFC's
      Mini tubs
      Solid body mounts
      ?????

Have you spent any time researching this? Your set up is a good one and with your stated use it will be more than enough. BTW a properly set up leafspring suspension will handle anything you throw at it.

I have an unlimited budget. That bad part is I have already used it up.

Are you sure that you'll be able to fit 285's on the front with the stock subframe? That seems pretty big. The largest I've heard of on a stock front are CarlC's 275's, and he had to nail the backspacing and take some steering out.

Mike is correct on the tires. I have 255s on mine.

While we're at it, the DSE coilover kit requires that you undo a ball joint to make a ride height adjustment. (And I read a post that claimed you also needed to undo a ball joint to adjust the shocks, but I don't personally know that to be true.) I've also read that the DSE geometry in their coilover conversion is not quite as good for aggressive street/track driving as you'd get from something like the ATS spindle. If all of that is true (and I think it is) why are you "sold" on the DSE speed kit 3, particularly if the budget for your build matters?

I'm not knocking the DSE product, but given your stated objectives, it seems there might be better front end solutions.
