Johnny Joints on front lower control arms?

I was wondering if the weld in style 2-1/2" Johnny Joint would be a good idea for front lower control arms?

we have used them with success but they are to be considered a solid bushing and need periodic greasing

We`ve used them as well with good results. Grease them when you service the rest of the suspension (tie rod ends etc.) and they`ll provide a nice long service life. You could also use those in the front of the arms (this location takes most of the cornering loads) and run stock rubber in the rear to absorb hits on potholes etc. Mark SC&C
