      Another G-Body Hooray!

Hey, my name's Brody from Coquitlam, which is just outside Vancouver, British Columbia and I've got a 1980 Cutlass Supreme.

      ENGINE

357 SBC/TH-350, 9.25:1 compression, AFR 195's, Comp XE268, MSD ignition, dual 2 1/2" exhaust w/ x pipe into Magnaflow mufflers and the other usual stuff.

      REAR END STUFF
Ford 9" rear end, 3.70 gears on a Detroit Locker, Iceman tubular double adjustable upper/lower contol arms, 11" rotors and Cadillac calipers.

      FRONT END STUFF
I've got Speedway tubular uppers, Spohn tubular lowers with QA1 Pro-Coil coilover kit, and my hybrid brake setup with '98+ Blazer sealed hub/spindle with LS1 calipers and C5 Corvette rotors.

      PLANS
Next year I plan to pull the body off the frame, box it, weld up all the un-neccessary holes, then start on the body work.
As far as performance goes, I'll be converting to fuel injection and swapping the TH-350 for a TKO-600.

Here a couple pictures of how it looks for now....

Anyways, let me know what you think! Thanks

      -Brody

Yeah the back end is still too high, I need to figure that out.

And I'm not to worried about the dents right now, as long as I get to drive it I'm happy lol.

Welcome aboard from a fellow G-body owner! Man, your Cutlass looks evil, I like it!!! My parents had an '80 Cutlass when I was a kid and I used to ride in the trunk of it to deliver newspapers. It was the first car I ever drove too, and started my love affair with the G-body cars. Good luck with it! What wheels are on there, they're sharp!

^I believe they are AR Torquelites. You can get these in 17's and 20's from Greg Weld.

Welcome b-rod! Your car looks mean in the stealth black! I sold my totaly stock rust free 42,000 mile 88 Cutlass Supreme Classic a couple weeks ago. I'm sure it's rollin on at least 22's already since the new owner builds Donks. Painted my 81 Malibu Memorial day weekend though so I'm putting that back together now.

I agree about the back end being too high. I wouldn't be too worried about the dents either. Driving it is way more fun than showing it.

Having gone through converting my '85 Grand Prix from carb to a TPI with a Megasquirt, I can say it would have been very little additional coin to get an LS-series (the 5.3L is really easy to find now) motor from a junkyard and Megasquirt it, and probably much less trouble.

Oh, and a Megasquirt fits in the stock computer location, so once you're done tuning it, you can tuck it away behind that passenger side kick panel and nobody will be the wiser.

      Good luck!
