Spent some time fitting my tank. I want to mount it without using those straps. I think it would look better without the straps. I will use the mounting bolts from the stock tank and I figured out how to blind mount the tank. Also, had to figure out where to put the fuel inlet tube. I think this tank will get me going down the road, but I want to build a wider and shallower. I feel it hangs down a little more than I like. This is just a visual judgement. I still have plenty clearance below the tank.

Update on my Camaro. Finished tank, mounted it, plumbed everything. Tonight wire it up, and fire up the engine. Before I had the fuel pump in a 5gal bucket with the gas in it (Yeah very safe....) just to fire it up. Now, I have the fuel system where it should be.

A few more things like buttoning up the brakes, rear gear install and install pan-hard bar. Then I can take the maiden voyage around the block. Sitting on a crate of course.

It has been a long time since I last updated, then I find out Photobucket is playing their games. Hopefully, this will work. I am now trying to use Imgur. Please be patient if my pics don't come through just yet. Finished off the rear end, and reinstalled. Now working on final body work before I shoot some color.

Thanks Wayne, but at the rate I move...you will most likely be posting up an first ride vid before me. I still have a lot of little details to take care of on the body before paint.

Still working away on the front valence. I will make a mesh insert to fill the opening and plan on doing a different front spoiler. Had the stock one laying around and wanted to see what it would look like with it.

I don't post much here lately, because I feel I don't really have an handle on Imgur but here goes. Hope these pics are not too big.

Been doing some work, did metal work, epoxy prime, bondo and 80 grit and now 2K. Now getting ready for another round of sanding.

Nice Sam! Really coming along. What door handles are you using again?

Imgur works great once you get the hang of it.

Thanks Ben, The handles are from mid 2000's GM like Pontiac Grand Prix, Bonneville, Malibu. etc... I think the C5 Corvettes used the same handles, I would be using the keyless ones. There are no key holes in my car anymore other than the ignition and that might even be going to a push button start.

It has been awhile since I updated this build. I have recently built some mirrors for my car. I had wired it for electric mirrors so, I wanted these to be electric. I got mirrors at a pic a part off of an mid 2000's Buick. They were window mounted, and I needed door mounted. So, I fabbed up a door mount. I will have to get pics here of the finished and painted mirrors later. I don't have any pics here of them done.
Here are the steps I took.
