"Bodacious" Sam's 68 Camaro PT project

I recently renamed this project from "Buck Shot" To "Bodacious" that mean PBR bull that had the tendency of rearranging faces.
I haven't really started a project thread on my Camaro in here and thought I was getting to the point that I should. I have spent this weekend mocking up and tacking my rear suspention in place. My goal is to get this car a roller before my wheels show up. They are due next Friday. The wait is killing me. But it isn't like I have nothing to do till they get here.

Ok, here are some pics. I did my own disk brake conversion, still need to finish the rears. Fabbed the mini-tubs, and crossmember for T-56 trans. And pics of my tires waiting on rims. Should be here tomorrow.

Got my rims today. Haven't really played with adjusting any ride heights. Just threw the tires on and took pictures. They are Budnik "Cobalts". Look really nice. I am glad I finally have them.

      Congratulations

Hey Sam glad the wait is over for you ! They look great on there. When you get everything in the car the ride height will come down.
Looks like your helper is glad they came it too. It must be a nice relief . They look great.

I have spent the last 8 mos making as smooth of a buck that I can, and fiberglassed it tonight to make my mold for my own unique hood. I am calling it "SB/L-89" it is like a L-88 but a more modern day look. The SB is my initials. So far it is all home made. I originally drew it up with vents on both sides. I am not sure if I will do them but I am open for suggestions. It should be done in about two more weeks or so. I am thinking on doing another version of this at 3" tall. I think this is a bit tall (5") for what I want as a final hood. Plus in Utah. It wouldn't be legal. Our limit here is 4". I found that out after I was pretty deep into making the buck.

Although, I have a cowl hood for my car. The cowl is my favorite hood for 1st gens. I feel the cowl is so overplayed. That is what made me want to do something different. I always loved a L-88, but didn't like what was avaliable.

Paint? Ask me everyday... and I will probably tell you a different color . I think it will only get locked down the day I go pick up the paint. I always bounce back between some deep blue to brandywine. Here is a pic that I photoshopped. I also put my wheels and brakes into this pic. LOL.

any chance that you weighed the wheels before you mounted tires?
