      Need Help with Pypes Momentary switch for electric cut outs

      Ok this is the deal,i got Pypes electric exhaust cut outs or dumpers,it came with its own wiring harness and switch,now what i wanna do is disconnect the pypes momentary switch and connect it to my conv`t.top switch which is also a momentary switch,the Pypes switch has 6 terminals in the back and the convt.top switch has 3 terminals anyone know how this can be done?

      sounds like the Pypes switch is a double pole double throw switch and your convertible switch is a double pole single throw switch. Depending on how PYPES has it wired its not gonna be able to work without wiring in relays. Sounds like your not that expierenced with doing custom electrical stuff so I would just stick to using their switch so it works, if you are dead set on wiring it through the vert switch post up a schematic of the pypes switch and what each wire is and Ill tell you how to make it work.

      A friend of mine told me how to do it,yes i needed to use 2 relays to get it to work,all is fine now,thanks.
