Finally a ride after 13 years!!!

Well I finally got to pull the car out of the garage last night and drove it around the block for the first time since 1995! It was also the first time the car had left the garage in 4.5 years after being painted. This is a 68 Camaro, 385ci, TKO600, 12 bolt-->574hp/546 tq/ft. I painted it then decided to redo everything after I got to messing around with it. For the most part I am happy with what I did but now I just want a G bar to finish it off. Until last night I had never driven a car with this kind of power and was amazed that even in second gear with just light throttle the tires will break loose. When it is fully back together this thing is going to be a blast to drive. I will post pictures tonight if I can get the camara to work and then figure out how to post them on the site. The information on the site has been THE biggest help getting this thing done right and to true PT status. Thanks alot guys for the help!!

Hopefully it won't ran this evening and I can take some when I get to the house. It had been inside for so long that I began to wonder if I should have painted it a different color, but after getting it outside I knew the color was still right on. The other thing I kept questioning was whether the glass I got from Prodogy was dark enough being just smoke, in the shop with all the lights lighting up places it made it look not so dark. When it was outside and the windows up it is a good amount of tint and I LIKE!!!

Thanks guys I really appreciate the good remarks. When I was putting things together I didn't ask for peoples advise cause there really wasn't anybody to ask and I became leary of how things would be taken. The steering wheel is from Isotta and is an Italian wheel, good price for then too.
