335/35-17 - questions
OK, I planned on using these on the rear of my vette with the L88 flares on 11" wide wheels. Now my calculations tell me this should be a 26.2" tall tire (Dunlop SP8000) The website for Dunlop says 26.2" tall, great, height is exactly what I need .Well with the tire mounted on the wheel I measure to the top of the tire...its more like 25" . Am I measuring wrong? can those of you with 335/35-17's do a measuremnet for me and see how tall your tire actually is? I need a tall tire, at least 26" to fill the wheel arch.
