c4 c5 suspension
how different are the two. i have heard that gm doesnt make replacement arms for the c4's and that is the only way to replace the bjs, i have heard that they can be pressed in and out but that weakens the arm. does a c5 have a crossmember that can be detatched from the rest of the car in one piece i want something that wil retain all the angles and dimensions without having to do a lot of checking, im afraid that if i tried to make my own crossmember/framerails that i wouldnt get it right so i basically want it to be the same side to side so i would just have a crossmember to fit properly. i have heard of progressive i have yet to call them for some kind of quote. a c4 would be easy because i can get an entire car from a friend and part out the rest and keep the front suspension. i know c5's have bigger brakes but how is the geometry different can anybody explain basics or point me to some sites with info. oh and if anybodys interested this is going in a 67 mustang fb, a c4 is only 1.5" wider and about 10" shorter
thanx
