      lt1 guy's

Guys got the lt1 in my 69 camaro running some what. Here's the problem, the car acts like the timing is retarted or something, rough idle, valve rattle, and some back firing, what I have done so far is replace the opti, spark plugs, and 02s,the fuel pressure is 46lbs.Was wondering if maybe there is a problem with the pcm,was considering getting another one from pcmforless, also the car is throwing no codes, the motor and trans are out of 95 trams am (4l60e) bone stock. One more thing the car has 30lb injectors,it had a granatelli meter on it but ran worse with it on,so stuck a stock meter on it ran a little better but doesn't the meter have to be calibrated to the injector size?Any help with this would be great.THANKS!

Does it still have the bone stock tune? You'll definitely need to tune for those 30# injectors (stock is 24#) - if you haven't done this already, then I'll bet that is the reason why your car is running poorly. Also note that tuning for different injectors isn't as simple as just throwing in a new injector constant - make sure that the injector offset table vs battery voltage has been changed as well.

+1 for getting it tuned. also jus my 2cents you might want to think about installing a cam and other mods to get the most out of those injectors
