      PCM for less?!?!?!

so i just about got the Lt1 in my 69 Camaro up and running.

I was looking into having PCM for less do my tune. has anyone used them b4? how much did it cost?
How long did it take to get the ECU?
      Was it worth it?

I have a comp cams cc305 cam, 1.6 RR, comp cams 918 beehive springs, long tube headers, 2.5 inch true dual exhaust, and im gonna get them to delete all emissions.
How much HP and TQ do u think it'll net me to have them tune my ECU with that info?

      thanks for all the help!

Tuning is not done to gain horse power. It is done because it is necessary for the engine to run correctly. Yes, you can do a dyno tune and gain power, but you must have the car running correctly first. That is what tunning really does.

To answer your question, PCM4less can do a mail order tune and do it well. They offer a good service at a competitive price. You will want to have the car dynoed and a wide band O2 reading done at some point though just to make sure everything is optimal. However, to get down the road correctly and without issues, you can use PCM4less.

Also check with Speed Inc ----> I believe they still do LT1s. I know they used to anyway.

They did one for me. Really good job, they have done SO many, that they can dail it in really good, just by your list of mods.
Pretty quick turn around for me, or they can send you out a PCM, tuned for your setup, then you send in your core, after its swaped out, so no down time if your cars already running, but you do some new mods.
Mine was like 150 bucks 5 years ago. probably more now I bet.

Bryan (PCMforless) has tuned my last two tow vehicles and I'm very satisfied. He did one in person and the other by mail, which he got back in the mail to me the same day he got it. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

Another vote for Bryan. I have done 2 tunes so far, the turn around time was really quick (1-2 days). The engine runs great! Great customer service.
