They are all going to have that for the hood pop, the only other option you are going to have it to build something full custom to match the stock look if you dont want it there. Big money to do that but it can be done. when you paint the stock OEM grilles they dont look bad and I can get them from a dealer ship for you if they still have them. OEM brand new in the box

grab an old camaro grill...cut a piece off of it...and find a way to put it in the middle of the gap. some fiberglass work Idk....should beable to modify it easily.

Then you could install a soleniod to open the hood.

Like dstryr said, you can do it yourself if you use a picece from an old grille. I've done it to several now, 70-71 grilles look the best as the spacing is equal for all the holes.

      Here's what I do:
      1. cut the piece to fill the hole a little big
      2. file some shallow slots in the grille where the piece will fit
      3. SLOWLY file the filler piece so that you get it fitting in their snug (the piece will actually be slightly wedge shaped and only fit in from the back side)
      4. once you're happy with the fit/alignment use PC7 to glue in place
      5. let epoxy dry and then go back and file/sand smooth (carefully)
      5. paint and you'll never see it

I unfortunately crash tested mine a few years back and smashed the grille pretty good, they epoxyed piece did not come out!
