      Camaro wiper arms?

Ok a few months ago the spring broke in one of my window wipers. Ever since then, it would just flop around when I was using it, and even when it wasn't raining and I was on the freeway, it would come off the windshield.

Anyway, I went down to Classic Industries yesterday to get some Nova parts and I wanted to get a new wiper arm but they apparently don't make them for Novas, but they do for Camaros. So I got a couple Camaro arms but they have different ends to attach the blades. Either that or they're not complete, so I'm wondering what you guys with 1st gen Camaros do for wiper blades.

Basically the Nova arms have little vertical "stubs" (kinda like an L shape) at the end and you push a blade down on it and it snaps down on it. The Camaro arms, however, just end straight. They don't turn up for the wiper blades.

Can I get a set of blades at Autozone or Pep Boys or NAPA or whatever for a 1st gen Camaro? Will they just slide on the ends or is there supposed to be a "stub" like the Nova arm?

I think I would just pull the arm off and run up to the store to see what they have that fits.... I would think that the curvature would be close enough that they would work correctly. Sorry that no one has the exact answer for your question, but I think that you can figure out the answer pretty easily....

      Good luck!

Go to NAPA. They own Trico, which was the original manufacturer for thos arms. Or I can get you reproduction arms for around $25 each.

Yeah, I could have just gone to a local store, but I just wanted to get a part number before I went, lol.

Sorry nobody has the exact answer you're looking for.... But if I was in your position, my ass would end up just having to go to the store with arm in hand lol. It is hard to get a straight answer from anybody....
