      Bought My Rushforth's

Well i didnt buy them, but i did lock in the 20% off they were offering. im still about 6 months out on needing them, so i have plenty of time to decide what i want as far as colors and sizes.

i also met Jon from driversinc in person, and hes a really cool guy. he actually drove to my house on his wifes birthday to show me a few samples. i also saw the car in person and it looks really good. if you need wheels, give them a call because they are great to work with.

also, since i am still a little undecided on a color scheme, im going to have jason rushforth draw up the car. ive been in contact with him also, and he seems like a great guy as well. its unusual for me to get such a great first impression from people in this business, but im really impressed so far.

like i told jon yesterday, choosing rushforth just narrowed my choices from over 1000 to just under 10. it saved me tons of headaches and it got me a top quality wheel and great customer service as well.

i havent decided on a wheel yet, but the inners are either going to be full polish, or the titanium color on my suspension. im just afraid the titanium wont be dark enough to give a good contrast. they might just look like dull wheels from a distance. Jon took a part that i had painted and is going to see how close we can get the powdercoating. ill then use that color and match it perfectly for the hood stripe/stripes/rushforth's vision.

      Tim,

It was more a pleasure to visit with you, and to check out your car in progress. Jason and I are glad to be a part of your build, and if there is anything else we can help with along the way in addition to the design work, and wheels, just let us know. I'll have more information by Wednesday on the powder coat sample against your painted pieces.

      jon, not a problem.

i got the frame off the rotisserie and onto the old wheels and i put the body on the rotisserie. its going out to have the bottom blasted in the next couple of weeks. almost everything else is new sheet metal.

i cant wait for the new rushforths, i just need to make up my mind on which ones first. jason's rendering will help with that though.

What kind of price are we talking on these wheels? I like the idea of great customer service and people who are EASY to work with.

email or call jon at driversinc. the prices are MUCH better than any other quality wheel i could find. i beat my budget by over $1000. they've got a good assortment of designs now, with another 3 coming soon.
