Ferrambo red please for this '55 ...

After seeing the amazing shade of red paint on the "Ferrambo" Riddler car I'd appreciate it if someone could do a chop and give my planned '55 below a bath of something close to that shade paint.

      Thanks a lot...

If that's what you are looking for paint wise, I am sure I can get you in touch with Tim so you can get the paint code. Good looking rendering!

If it's painted Ferrari red (Rosso Corsa Red) then the code is 322.

IMHO with the dollars spent I would guess its a custom mix; but it does look like Ferrari red obviously.

I'd travel a distance to catch up with Ferrambo at a show.

Thanks for the paint code 'the Boss of Bad Penny' -

I'm interested in that color code also. I want a red that pops, not your usual red.

I am looking for a nice deep blood red. There is a GM color that came on Blazers that is close.

Steve's right about the Rosso Corsa. They were going strong with the Ferrari theme all the way to the color.

The red with black wheels photoshop looks tough!

Merecedes, Honda, Nissan, and BMW also have some really nice reds with a lot of blue in them for that blood red look.

I was looking for a red for my Camaro project and decided on Porsche Guards red. It's about the only red I've seen that doesn't seem to have an orange tint.
Base coat/clear coats are a set color and you can't do much about it, except for shading it w/a dark/light sealer coat.
Candy colors have really become popular again. I like the way the color looks in the rendering photo of the red '55. Looks like a silver base w/layers of candy red will really give it some depth. The more layers of color that go on, the darker/deeper it becomes. Using a gold base will give it different characteristics (I'm no expert, I just know enough to get me out of trouble). The '55 looks almost 3 demensional and you can put your hand into the paint, where the Ferrambo car looks like a red flat surface.

Crap, If I didn't already have the paint for my car, I'd spray some sort of candy red. You can sure see the difference.

I'll have to check with my paint guys. They spray a lot of DuPont..not sure if another brand would throw them a curve.

Didn't mean to hijack the thread.

I saw a corvette painted blue blood red, and I have to say, it is a beautiful color. I had forgotten all about it 'til I heard you mention it.
