This fine '57 looks like lots of fun...

I'd like one with this color combo which is the same as is in the James Bond (Connery) flick 'From Russia with love'... but with a 6 speed and a lower ride height/ C6 based suspension.

More good pics here for '57 fans ...

For that kind of money you would think they could find some Stayfast.

57 chevy convertible is a dream car of mine! And for that price, it will remain a dream!!
I am not useless, I can still be used as a bad example!

Wow, I haven't seen a functional oil bath in a while.

Do you still believe in all the things that you stood by before? Are you out there on the front lines, or at home keeping score?
Do you care to be the layer of the bricks that seal your fate? Would you rather be the architect of what we might create?

When I saw it I thought it would be a great adventure to cruise cross country in one with some suspension mods and a 6 speed. I had a '57 'vert project which I sold unfinished... which has made me wonder what if? I posted it for the fun factor, not to debate what's it worth or supposed fit and finish. Good questions of course but that's not the intent of thread. I probably wasn't clear in my OP. It is not a lot of peoples taste which is understandable. I turn 53 soon so I grew up with them, owned 2 and watched Project X from the begining so to me IMHO they are a big deal...-
