I had the front and rear springs done locally by Mearl at Mearl's Frame Shop. Frame and Springs were powder coated locally.
The brakes are Baer 12 in.
When I started this project I had no idea about the upgrades for this car and I had never heard of "pro-touring".
The car was still drivable at the start of this project. When finished it will be more drivable than ever, hopefully as much difference as when I went from poly tires to radial's.
I have had the car for 30 years.

Who did your powder coating? Would you mind disclosing how much they charged for the subframe? It looks really good. I was thinking about using Coatpro here in OKC.

      Coming along nicely!

I have a lot of the same stuff on my Firebird. In fact it almost looks the same except the springs.
      Is that a Hotchkis bar?

You are gonna' love the way it handles!

      Look familiar?

It was done with several other items, I would guess the price around 175-200.

I can hardly wait to drive the car and feel the difference in the handling.
When I showed my Dad the brakes (he's 81) he said "you will be able to stop on a dime and get a nickle change". Probably not the first to say that but I thought it was funny.
Front and rear sway bars are from Hotchkis.

It is a Chevy crate motor. The intake and carb did not come with the motor. http://www.jegs.com/p/GM+Performance...10002/-1/10763

Looks awesome. Do those Global West control arms come with solid bushings, or is that an upgrade from urethane bushings? And how much more caster do they add?

You have a choice on the bushings, I went with the DEL-A-LUM. 5.5 degrees positive caster built into the control arm.
