Who's got "the cough"?

I know this is lame but I was just realizing that tomorrow night I'll have had this damn cough/sore throat for 3 weeks. Arrrrghhhh!!!!! I'm not used to being sick! Once a year, maybe.

Even cough medicine of various types doesn't seem to phase it much! I'm about ready to seek some anti-biotics.

Only 1 week here, but Lord what a week! Sucks!!!!!!

To top it off, past 2 days here have been pretty warm. Ever work in the heat while your sick with fever? I don't recommend it.

I'm over it now but a few weeks ago I got over a 2 or 3 week cough. It sucks!

3 weeks. But I usually keep it off and on about all winter. But,with the weather like it is here, no wonder!! 70* one day and 20* the next, no joke!

Going on 4 weeks but now I'm down to about 5 or 6 coughs a day.

I just love living in the midwest. It was 14 degrees here today. I had to call my Mom this afternoon out in Scottsdale, Arizona where my parents spend their winters.....it was 82 and she was just getting out of the pool.

I almost hung up on her.

I've never been sick with the flu more than 3 days. It took 2 weeks to get over it this time. Nasty stuff this year.

I had it for 2 weeks about a month ago. worst cold ever. im never sick for more then 2-3 days at a time.

the magic pill for it is that "airbourne" stuff. drink one dissolved tablet every few hours and you will be 10 times better the next day. keep taking it till you are good. its like a mega dose of vitamins and things. thats the only thing I have ever come across that did anything for me.

For me, good ole fashioned home made chicken soup usually does the trick.

I'm going on week 4. My antibiotics ran out, but the cough stayed. Slowly improving, though.

I had it once back in December, went to the doc on about the 2nd day. Cleared up in about a week. Then got it again in January, lost my voice for almost 2 weeks, lost it completely, only air coming out. Kids liked it because I couldn't yell at them.

This is week two for me. It is killing me! I am training for a marathon in April and I have had two bad weeks now! I usually don't get sick like this, so just really annoyed!

it's hard to get to sleep when you can't stop coughing,....then again, for me the coughing is only bad when I breathe.

after 3 weeks now I feel it letting up a bit.....

Starting week three. Had a fever for a couple of days, now only have a nagging cough that just keeps lingering. I also usually over it by day 3.

I got the caugh a few weeks ago and felt kind of miserable for a couple of days. I feel better now, but this darn caugh hasn't gone away! I never get sick...

One week today. Peaked with a 104 fever on Sunday. Still coughing up lungs.

Just as I started to read this I coughed for the first time in a week.
I had that bug for 10 day's.
