metal slug kits for patching holes
hey I dont know what to search in google but maybe you guys would know what Im talking about. Im looking for a kit of pre punched sheet metal slugs that are varying sizes that I can use to fill in holes all over the car. Ive seen it before but cant for the life of me remember where I saw it. hopefully somebody can point me in the right direction.

Matty, I saw it some place myself, but I can't find it. Anyway, I just take tin snips and cut them out of 20 gauge. For what its worth, heres some sheet metal thicknesses.

you could always use the copper backing method. that is if you can get behind what you're wanting to weld.

This will work when you can't get behind it, also works pretty good for areas that have a lot of tiny pin holes, you can do a pretty good sized section. It gives you a little better feeling welding to good metal, I know when I weld up pinholes, I wonder just how solid the metal is when I get done. Heres the deal. http://www.1969supersport.com/blweld.html

yeah I know of the copper back up method and have been using a piece of pipe that is folded over itself for a long time. My issue is with the bigger irregular holes where I can just hole saw them out and patch them in with a pefectly round piece. The kit that Im talking about has to be around, I used it a long time ago but I cant remember from where. Maybe anybody even knows what they would be called and I could google for em. Other wise I may just use a holse saw to cut them out and just weld in the pilot hole.
