Roll Cage Question

Question from a guy who is new to roll cages guys.

The question is can you put a roll cage in without the bar that crosses infront of the doors? Or can you bend them to make it easy to get in? Any thoughts or pictures would be great thanks.

yes you can, however dont even run the door bars if your gonna make it easy to get in and out unless you want the look, they need to pass between your shoulder and elbow to be nhra legal, however they can be bolt in, so bend themproperly and just make it pin iin

Thanks for the info Jake. What would you recommend for a car that might be on a few road course and the street mostly I have no plan to drag race it. I mostly want the cage to reduced body flex.

i would do a 1.75x.095 4 point minimum but adding a halo bar and forward down bars to it would be ideal, as well as two engine bay bars.
