unisteer power rack

hello
has any one used a unisteer power r/p system from unisteer?
i have a 69 rs/ss with the factory power steering set up i was going to change over to unisteer system, any advice on doing this?
i have header clearence problem with my small block.
is the steering geomitary the same as the factory one.
i need heads up please.

The geometry is improved for bump steer. They supply new steering arms to help with this, as well as the rack being custom for the car. The feel is pretty good. What clearance problems to you have? Just with the steering box?

yes the steering box does not clear the headers that i have.
have u tried one of these set-up's from unisteer?
i ordered a new set of headers from hooker to see if it will clear.
i also wanted to get a better feel from the steering. will this set-up do it?

I have a 69 also, but the car is not back on the road yet. Went onto the subframe fine, as long as I followed directions. The two bolts are at an angle, so the one side needs to be mounted and the unit against the subframe for it to be over enough to get the second bolt through.

ok thanks for the info ! any heads up on the diffrence between a steering box veres a power rack and pinon set up ?
