Got my RFR Fab sheet metal valve covers today
Matt and I got together and came up with a unique way of doing the centerbolt covers without using big support washers on top. They also are wider than a standard small block cover which I think looks cool. They use a button head stainless allen bolt to hold them down (not shown) which is a theme in my engine compartment.

That looks very good Jody. I've seen Matt lay some welds, and he makes it look way too easy. He's a damn welding machine. I envy you now. I can't wait to see the final product in the car.

Lookin' really good, Jody! Matt fabs some awesome stuff, and those valve covers look excellent with that intake. That engine setup is amazing!

I had to wait a bit too. But the holdup was with some of his suppliers, not with Matt himself. When he had all the pieces in his possession he had them done in a couple of days.
It WAS worth the wait to me, they look different than what I've seen in the centerbolt style covers. And the shaft rockers made it necessary to go this direction instead of the perimeter style covers. I HIGHLY recommend Matt's work.

does anyone know if matt can fab some valve covers that have an oil line in them to mist oil on the rockers?

I know that when I get them, the parts will be "right," which is something I would certainly love to see with the remainder of all the darned stuff I buy!I had to wait a bit too. As for the custom deal well, that's where Matt really rocks. He'll have more ideas on how to tackle a project than most people will, even if it is their own project. Great guy too, as far as I can see.
