Cast turbo Manifolds for LSx

hey does anyone know of a company that makes and actual cast turbo manifold for the LSx that will fit the chevelle?? I cant afford tubular headers that I trust will be up to the job (like Nelsons) and I dont want to spend the money on the Schwartz manifolds that appear to be a schedule 40 weld el manifold. Im more or less looking for the Gen 3 equivalent of a Banks SBC twin manifold and I have had absolutely no luck finding such a part. If any of you guys have happened to come across a company that produces these PLEASE help!! Im getting ready to pull the front end on the car to start mocking up the motor and I kinda need these to do that. Also price is a factor as well, I cant afford to spend over 1500 on them and even that is on the very high end of what I can afford just for manifolds. Im getting a bit desperate at this point and Im second guessing if this is even gonna be possible but I will persevere. thanks

Would backwards 6.0L truck manifolds work? Those are nearly free.

APS uses cast manifolds :



and I believe Turbonetics....but good luck trying to get cast manifolds for a reasonable price.

Matt has the best idea of trying to get a stock type manifold to work. There are also a couple of companies successfully running a Single turbo on an lsx platform--using a cross-over pipe. Not the nicest looking set up but somewhat affordable.

they use 6.0 manifolds and if those wont clear try the cadillac ctsv ones theres a guy thats doing a tt on a 78 camaro he would have about the same clearance issues as u

from what ive seen the driver side manifold will run into the steering box. I may be wrong on it and Ill find out for sure when I put in the motor cause it has truck manifolds already. If it doesnt Im making a set out of shd 10 elbows.

I'm not sure what your budget is, but it might be worth taking a look at his setup. They look pretty low profile and should give decent hood clearance.

I believe he wants 2 grand for those now... They are made out of schd 10 elbows as well and then coated. I could build those my self for under 200 dollars flanges included. Like I said I may have to go that way if nothing else pans out and at this point it doesnt look like anything will. Kinda sucks that nothing is really available for em considering the motor design is over 10 yrs old now but oh well I suppose I gotta figure that no body was making turbo stuff for small blocks for over 30...

Actually it's about $400 in materials, counting turbo and wastegate flanges and 30-35 hours of labor for a pair of them, including double pass tig welding and machining.
