      Where to stop undercoat

Is there where you should stop your undercoat or should it be a straight line across the front of the floor pan and not coming up the trans tunnel at all?

I mean, there is a pretty good line to follow there. and also dont worry about having shiny paint behind the fenders or inner fenders unless you are painting a showcar that will be inspected with a white glove. Just some thoughts, but remember it is your car, so the final decision is up to you.

      Good luck!

I believe that I will put undercoat of some type all the way up to the cowling and go under the cowl panel with it. I have done a couple of cars like this and the firewall looks clean and is easier to maintain on a driver. Trunk spatter paint looks OK too, just seal the metal first since it is porous.
