Hydroboost hose routing - need help!

      Hey all,

I am in the process of adding a Hydroboost unit from a 93 chevy pickup. I know the general rounting of the system, but I don't know which ports on the Hydroboost are which. There is obviously a return, and pressure in, and pressure out. The two pressure lines have different size fittings - which one is which? Anyone know?

I am doing this DIY style, using OEM type hoses, just looking till I find one that fits. When I get a workable solution I plan on posting the details so anyone can do it cheap. Real cheap. I got my booster for $75. Lines were $40.

Also, when this thing is mounted, should the hoses be pointing up toward the hood or down toward the frame? I saw a pic of one installed with the hoses pointing down, but most of the pictures of the parts online show it with the hoses facing up. ??? Anyone?

      Thanks for any help.
      Jer

the larger port is the hose from the PS pump, smaller goes to the steering box

you can mount it either way, mines mounted hoses up because the hoses were setup that way but it'll work with them pointed down too
