rust problem
do a lot of vinyl top camaros get rust forming under the back glass. The only rust on my car seems to be that 4 inch strip under my back glass. And i was wondering i am not big on body work...could i fix it my self if i can weld..?

the bottom part of the rear glass is a rust area for a lot of early camaro coupes. There is a piece you can buy to replace that lower section, but if it isn't that bad just cut the existing rust out and replace it with new metal. tack weld and grind smooth. I did this on my 68 rear glass on the sides and the lower part of the glass area. fairly simple job for anyone. I am not recommending buying the lower glass piece, because it is a little tougher task. good luck.
