      1971 camaro brake lights

This is really weird. I hooked up the rear harness today and plugged the battery in. Everything seemed okay until I looked at the driver side tail lights ...one of them is on even with the key in the off position. ... what gives?

I took that bulb out of that socket and tested it on all the other rear ones and none of the other ones were recieving power...so its just the driverside brakelight....

This is on a 71. Anyone know whats up?

      Thanks, Dennis

Is this a stick shift car? I had the same problem. Tured out that the reverse light was wired wrong. Sandard shift has to be in reverse to start if wired correctly, causing one light to be on- hope this helps
