Finally found wheels I liked, for me I wanted something I don't see on every corner, Nothing against Torq-thrusts but if I see one more set of them I might puke! Still need to lower the car but wanted the wheels before I did it, now that I have them I can only go about 2 inches. The wheels are racing dynamics 19's with pirelli p-zero 335/35/rear and 225/35/19 front. Car is a ultra low mile 1985 t-type(35000 miles) bought it with a blow motor now has a 262 buick V-6 .030 over roller valvetrain, fully ported and polished intake/heads, 42#injectors, walbro pump, alcohol injection, 3" downpipe and exhaust. Plans call for a 3:73 gear and a disk brake upgrade. If you are wondering yes it is fast, took the neighbors 72 Cuda with a built 400 in it, by like a door but hey it lost to a 6 cylinder, he was not happy

Looks good from that angle. I think previous owner must have parked within a foot of every car in the lot. The car has a lot of door dings, no rust though. Want to drive it this summer and then repair the dings and paint next winter, there are some advantages of a Ohio winter, considering doing a black over the original gray two tone paint.

A great deal of measurement, custom made spacers to allow the tire tosit as close to the frame as possible, boxed contol arms with poly bushings to reduce lateral movement. rolled fender lips. More measuring more fab the front is more of an issue than the rear. I bought these wheels used so I think I will need to drop down to a 225 or 235's to allow me do drop enough in the front. We actually took the springs out yesterday so we could see how low I actually could take it. Now I know I can only get 1 inch in the front and a bit over 2 in the rear.

I'm going to try the 5658's. Not as rough as the 5660, but still more firm than stock. Lot of GN guys use that spring.

I have a good friend that races a metric chassis late model stock car, He gave me like 4 sets of springs that he no longer runs, Prior to leaving his shop we match sets with his "spring compression tester thing" so I have several set to try out, really hope I find the fronts quick not looking forward to taking the front suspension apart more than twice. I will update when I find the set that works best. Great econo option btw if you look at speedway motors website the price of spring is unreal.
