      LS1 Brake Booster & Master

      Can you use the brake booster and master cylinder from a 00' ws6 ta on a 69' camaro? I am going to use the brakes so i thought i might be able to use them also. Any help? Thanks

      yes, don't forget to grab the lines coming out of the master too. You can reflare the other ends to a prop/combo valve.

      brake booster

      Willih , this is NOT a bolt on , but it can be made to work i am using this same setup on my 69 bird you may try a search too some one had a post about this recently if memory serves me

      I done it. I haven't run all of the lines yet. Knock the studs out of the booster and redrill holes, take the original clevis and weld it on the rod of the LS1 booster to adjust pedal height, notch firewall slightly on bottom and cut a trim piece for the top(I used a piece of black plastic).
      It looks like it come with it in 1969.... took a $50 junkyard piece and made it look good.

      sorry to be misleading...its not a complete bolt on with no mods. I get so used to guys being more onhands here and I assume its known.
