you'll have no trouble getting ideas from here. The trouble will be trying to figure out how to pay for all the cool stuff you decide you just HAVE to have...LOL ie...LSx...DSE quadralink...Forgeline wheels...Wilwood brakes...ATS spindles...bla..bla...bla, it never stops...please make it stop!!!

my comments would be update the wheels and drop it some...it would be a different car then.

By the way, I'm in Lombard, and welcom aboard...have fun!!! Make plans to join us in Pigeon Forge in September for Run Thru The Hills 4. You don't wanna miss it.

Sorry about the lack of response to all of your post guys, been pretty by a work. I appreciate all of the comments & compliments!

I do get to a few shows out this way............Lemont, Frankfort, Manhattan, Tinley Park. Plan on making the rounds this year too once the Z is back on the road. Would be great to some you that frequent the PT forum and check out your rides as well.

I had a great conversation with Mark from SC&C the other day to discuss some of the plans I have for the Z. Here is what I have in mind so far:

Alston G-Bar coilover rear suspension 175 or 200# springs
Alston front coilover conversion 650# springs
SPC UCAs with tall ball joint
Stock front sway bar with poly links and pivot bushings
Stock rear sway if if fits with the Alston setup
ProSystems custom Holley HP DP.....flows 820cfm
Boxed and reinforced stock LCA(done by me)
      Del-A-Lum(or similar) LCA bushings
      New lower ball joints

I have the new carb already(will have a 3yr Allstate 750HP for sale soon), the front sway bar is temp for this season only or depending on where the budget ends up after the Alston and SPC stuff is bought maybe some new front and rear sway bars.

That setup should get her low enough, provide very good handling characteristics, allow for decent launches at the strip, ride better that the original coil/leaf combo and best of all look trick!

If anyone has any comments of suggestions on my list feel free to fire away with the ideas. I'll try to post pictures as I move forward with the changes, time permitting of course.

Alston G-Bar coilover rear suspension 175 or 200# springs We sell a lot of these and install them regularly in our shop. Excellent product, go with the standard 250 LB springs Alston supplies
Alston front coilover conversion 650# springs Personally I prefer a good set of full size variable rate lowering springs to any of the coil over conversions available. I would think about Hotchkis springs and replacment Vari shocks
SPC UCAs with tall ball joint Do not think you need the tall ball joint.
Stock front sway bar with poly links and pivot bushings Front bar could stand a upgrade to a bit larger bar, maybe a Hotchkis hollow bar
Stock rear sway if if fits with the Alston setup Won't fit the G bar
ProSystems custom Holley HP DP.....flows 820cfm Good stuff, Quick Fule not bad either
Boxed and reinforced stock LCA(done by me) Not necesary
      Del-A-Lum(or similar) LCA bushings Yes
      New lower ball joints Yes

I do tech calls for the forum members here, your welcome to call and discuss your project anytime if you talk better then you type
