      68 camaro backspace question

I will be getting 16 x 8 inch TT II's for my 68 camaro. I am planning on 225 50 16 on the front and 245 50 16 on the rear. Will run Hotchkis TVS for suspension so 2 inch drop in front and 1.5 in rear...tuned to just get the fender lip to the top of the tire..I don't want to have rubbing issues anywhere...the wheels come "stock" with 4 3/4 backspace or should I custom order with 4 1/2 backspace?

      Thanks

Not to hog a thread but I was just going to ask the same question. I too have a 68 Camaro and was wondering about the backspacing on 16" wheels. You suggested the 4.5" backspacing, is that using a 16" x 8" wheel? or would that also include a 16" x 10" wheel for the rear? I really don't have the wheels picked out as of yet. Sorry if I'm hijacking this thread.
