It must be my lucky day

The California Air Resources Board just offered me $650 cash if they can crush my 1969 Camaro! Wow! An actual letter in the mail offering me cash for my pre 1987 vehicle in these tough economic times! Got to love it! ...It's a good thing my Ex isn't around.

      Regards

Curtis, I'd gotten those every couple years while I was driving my Camaro. I just toss it every time. And the most I got offered was 500 though.

Yeah, and be appologitic about it like..."I'm sorry I know there had to be a typo somewhere, but if your really serious I would consider $45850.00. You know times are hard and I would be willing to part with it at this loss."

thank you for your time, ....(you idiot!)

What I can't figure out is does the government really think that these older cars are really the cause of the bulk of pollution. I would like to see a study done on how many are actually still left out there and how many miles they are driven a year. There are not many classic muscle cars that are DD's anymore.
